October 26th, 2008 — Puma PAC
Please click HERE to move to the new site for the blog.
I’ve moved the blog over to our main website, www.pumapac.org for a couple of reasons. One, that site has access to a bigger, more reliable server which means (fingers crossed) that more people will be able to get their comments posted without errors. That site is also less susceptible to hackers. And the other reason has to do with technical Wordpress installation issues that I’ll probably mess up if I try to explain.
SO, today is a new day Pumas (unless you live on the midwest coast, in which case it is still the old day, which means you still have this new day to look forward to!).
Please click HERE to move to the new site for the blog.
Everything is still the same. Your usernames and passwords haven’t changed. The format is a little different, but only a little.
I think you’ll like it!
Take it next door!

Sign up if you are interested. All of the Pumas in comments are looking for an attorney!
Until we find an attorney who will accept our suit, how many PUMAs would agree to have a CLASS ACTION lawsuit against Obama and the DNC to show the public his official Birth Certificate before Nov 4th? Backing up Berg and letting the media know how we stand.
Folks, add your own name to the list in comments if you want to be included.
Please ONLY use this comment thread to add your name to the list.
The main blog discussion is happening in the below post, “Do you see any pumas in this picture?”.
Thanks!
Do you see any Pumas in this picture?
October 25th, 2008 — Join us!, Puma PAC, open thread
I somehow missed this story about Hillary supporters raising $8 million for McCain/Palin.
Add to that this story by a conservative Republican columnist who doesn’t believe the Poll Hype and claims that the MSM’s ignoring of the Puma Movement is a huge story in and of itself.
Oh and Hillbuzz reminds us that Chicago is the Murder Capitol of the USA this year, AGAIN!
Yay Barack! yay political leaders of Chicago! You’re Number One!
What about this picture. Do you see any pumas here:
That’s right — you don’t. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any there. In fact, the country is CRAWLING with Pumas. Tons and tons of Pumas. In every city and town.

Punked
October 24th, 2008 — Barack Obama, FRAUD!, The Audacity of Democracy, Why Don't You Take a Long Walk Off a Short Pier?, holy smokes, right-wing noise machine
What did that guy say? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on . . . won’t get fooled again!
Wise words. To be punked once is unfortunate, to be punked TWICE (in one week even!) shows a lack of judgment. That’s me right now. I’m both embarrassed and ashamed for assuming the veracity of a story that was both explosive and almost immediately questionable. I should know better.
I am sorry to all of my readers who HAVE been victims of violence in any form. Jumping on the bandwagon like I did, with little regard for the trauma it might revive in the minds and hearts of those who really HAVE BEEN HURT was very unkind and irresponsible and insensitive.
I am also sorry to every black man who has been hurt, shamed, and diminished by this unconscionable lie. To fabricate the story of an attack is an assault by a shameless person on the compassion and good faith of everyone. To make up a story like that using the most inflammatory and racist stereotypes in our cultural skeleton closet is beyond the pale. Big scary black man (with very dark skin, natch) attacks small, defenseless, young white woman. Ugh. Who cares about my personal experience, right? But for the record, I have never in ALL MY LIFE met this “big scary black dude” who everyone claims is all over the place. All the black men I’ve ever met have been friendly, funny, indifferent, compassionate, or sad. Maybe I need to get out more, but that’s my reality.
It almost makes me want to vote for Barack Obama. Seriously. If only to say that I will never defend the actions of Ashley Todd. She does not speak for me or for any decent person.
I’m not going to do it, because my beef with Obama goes way back. Way back before this week to the primaries, the caucuses, the lies, and the fraud.
But gosh darn you Ashley Todd, you just made my job a whole lot harder. Go take a very long walk off a very short pier.
But before you do, let me thank you for reminding me why I’ve always been wary of College Republicans. Another wise person has said, “If you’re not a Democrat when you’re young then you have no soul. And if you’re not a Republican when you grow up then you have no brain.”
Silly? yes. I feel just great about being a Democrat headed into middle age, BUT the first part of that statement is absolutely true. And Ashley Todd is Exhibit A.
One Last Parting Dose of Reality Before I Go Catch Up On Email
- Barack Obama is NOT a socialist. I mean come on! A 36% top interest rate = Unfettered Capitalism but a 39% top interest rate = Godless Socialism? Context is everything. Also, why the hell would the employees of all the financial companies have donated more money to Barack Obama than they have to any other candidate in the history of corporate people buying elections if they thought he was a socialist? Why would the current chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank, a former CEO of Goldman Freakin Sachs, have endorsed the guy if he believed he was a socialist?
- Barack Obama is not a terrorist and he is not a Muslim. He is a shameless opportunist who saw that the path of least resistance for his ambitious rise to political power lay through the heart of Chicago. That meant Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Farrakhan, Jackson, and Daley. I find that path troubling. I believe he underestimates the pernicious and aggressive intent of fundamentalist Islam and WOULD make grave errors in his approach to the Middle East. However, that doesn’t make him a Muslim and it doesn’t make him a terrorist. It makes him a Typical Power Grabbing Politician.
New Report: Reserve Supplies of Kool Aid “Dangerously Low”
October 24th, 2008 — Action, Barack Obama, Don't drink the koolaid, Join us!, N.O.T. for Obama 08, Puma PAC, Sexist Onslaught, The Audacity of Democracy, Why Don't You Take a Long Walk Off a Short Pier?
The big question haunting obama campaign headquarters these days is, “Is there enough kool aid in the world to keep our troops believing and fighting for us?” Winston Churchill famously said that “rum, sodomy, and the lash” were responsible for the success of the British Navy. There may not be any sodomy or corporal punishment on Obama’s Ship of Fools (oh pipe down about Larry Sinclair, ya swabbies!), but whoo-hee! that Kool Aide is some powerful juice!
It eats your brain and forces you to repeat the same phrases over and over again: Barack, Barack, Barack. O-Ba-Ma, O-Ba-Ma. Man! It’s weird. And what’s with all his supporters referring to him by his first name? It’s like they think he knows who they are. Snap out of it! Barack has no freaking clue who you are. He does not care! Wake up! It’s really kind of creepy.
The effects of this Demon Kool Aide also include an irresistable desire to attack women. It’s weird really. Drink enough of the red juice and Blam! Your latent bullying instincts suddenly take over your brain and your will. Five minutes before you were a mild-mannered cubicle jockey splitting your time between wondering how a schmuck like you was ever going to get a piece of the late stage hyper-capitalist ACTION and checking out free porn sites on the internet while playing WoW with all your online buddies, and then BOOM! You suddenly find yourself writing emails like this to people you don’t know:
You guys are a f*cking joke. You pretend to be Democrats, but you’re really Republicans. You’re not fooling anyone. Not really.
A real Dem, or real Independent who has a brain, would not want a man who’s supported Bush 90% of the time for these past 8 years, and been a cheerleader for the unnecessary war in Iraq. That would be McCain, in case your possible Alzheimer’s brain needed reminding.
So go ahead and vote for McCain. Let’s have at least another 5-10 years of war in Iraq, an unsupported war against the Taliban and Al Queda in Afghanistan, a f*cked up economy for another 4-8 years. Why not? You’re rich, you PUMAs, so you don’t care, you’re not hurting financially. No one who’s really hurting financially is supporting McCain.
Yeah, the economy has been entirely stagnant for the past 8 years. Let’s keep that up.
Too bad you people don’t have any brains. If you don’t live in the still-backwards South, where the education of the American citizens is STILL the lowest in the country, I’m sure they’d welcome you there.
Or you click from “Hot Teen Chicks Delivered Straight to Your Door” to this IBD/TIPP Poll showing that O-Ba-MA has lost his lead over McCain and the race is now statistically tied with fully 11% of respondents still undecided (in the primaries, undecideds broke for Clinton 4 to 1 and 5 to 1). Also this year pollers are experiencing an 80% hang-up rate. In normal years the hang-up rate is around 40%. And to really get you boys, um deflated, there is also the news that even though O-Ba-MA spent millions on ACORN and other efforts to increase voter registration this year, so far polls are showing that the number of new voters casting votes for the first time is the same as it always is, around 13%. Yikes. Now that’s pretty emasculating.
Kinda makes you want to do something like THIS. Or THIS.
Not us though. We Pumas have always been repulsed by campaign violence, cheating, and intimidation. We saw enough of it first hand in Nevada and Iowa and Texas during the primaries. We were hounded from enough political blogs and online sites to realize we REALLY don’t like it when violent, bullying, cheating elements take over a campaign. In fact, that’s EXACTLY why we started the Puma Movement in the first place.
To challege people like you.
Pumas, there are 11 days left. Don’t give up and don’t give in. Here’s a suggestion I received in email this morning for something anyone can do. Get involved. You’re an American citizen.
Act like one.
Video the Vote 2008Video the Vote is a national initiative to protect voting rights by monitoring the electoral process. We organize citizen journalists—ordinary folks like you and me—to document election problems as they occur. And then we distribute their footage to the mainstream media and online to make sure the full story of Election Day gets told. Watch our 2006 highlights and join us as we Video the Vote this November.
http://www.videothevote.org/
Another suggesion to contact your local/county campaign headquarters, and sign up to be a poll watcher! They may assign you to your own precinct or assign you to one that doesn’t already have a watcher. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!! WE MUST COVER ALL OF OUR PRECINCTS/DRISTRICTS!
Fight Back.
